12/29/2023 0 Comments Halo bassinetCan work for babies up to 5 months/30 pounds.Side pockets to store extra diapers, pacifiers, etc.Mesh sides which make it easy for you to see baby and also offer breathability.I also sometimes turn on the vibration when she starts to stir and it helps her fall back asleep. My daughter loves the womb sounds they really do seem to soothe her. They are weighted to keep the bassinet from tipping over.īattery-Operated Soothing Station: The soothing station has 5 different features – nightlight, lullabies, nature/womb sounds, vibration, and nursing timer. Living in a small townhouse, this is another feature I really appreciate! The legs/base is the reason why the box was SO heavy. The legs are also skinny enough that you’ll be able to slide probably 2 of them under your bed to save space. As your baby gets older, if you no longer want the side wall to lower, there is an easy lock you can slide to hold it in place.Īdjustable Base and Low Legs: This bassinet features an adjustable base to accommodate most bed heights, so you can adjust it to be the perfect height for your needs. It doesn’t sound like much to have to climb in and out of bed, but trust me, when you are a new mom and already exhausted, you just don’t want to have to do that! With this bassinet, one of the long walls raises and lowers as you put a little bit of pressure from your hand or arm on it. Side Wall Lowers: This is a feature that I have never seen in a bassinet before, but it’s brilliant! With my old bassinet, when it was time to put the baby back in there, I would always have to get all the way out of my bed and stand up to lower them in, otherwise, I was having to lean in so far I was afraid I would fall in myself. He’s been instructed that he can only do so when the baby is NOT in the bed. If you have a little boy, I’m sure you can imagine. He loves to come into the room and spin it around. My 2 year old son thinks this is the greatest feature. The 360 feature makes getting in and out of bed really easy. I had to basically climb 2/3 of the way down our bed (in the middle of the night, while I tried not to wake my husband) to get out. Swivels & Rotates 360 Degrees: When my two older children were babies, they had a small, rectangular-shaped bassinet that I would slide directly against my side of the bed. One of the things I remember disliking when I used it was that getting out of bed was a hassle. Here’s what it looked like when it was complete:Īs the movie above demonstrated, this bassinet is loaded with amazing features! Let me take a few minutes to talk about them. There was no way this pregnant lady was moving it up two flights of stairs! That was a job for my husband however I did assemble the whole thing myself! Assembly was pretty easy I actually did it while in early labor, just about 12 hours before my daughter was born. When my new bassinet arrived, I must tell you that I was shocked at how heavy the box was. When I heard about the brand new Halo Bassinest Swivel Sleeper, from the makers of the HALO Sleepsack and was offered the opportunity to try it out in our home (at no cost to facilitate this post), I couldn’t pass it up, especially after I watched this video showing all of it’s amazing features: When your baby is waking to nurse 2-3 times during the night, having them right next to your bed just makes things a lot easier. I received this Halo bassinet at no cost to facilitate this review.Īs a breastfeeding mom, it has always been important to me that my baby sleep in our master bedroom for the first few months.
